    Moving to Canada

I have worked in NYC for past 10 years as electrical engineer. If I move to Canada do I need to take any test/exams to work there? I would like to move to British Columbia.

Why do you think there would be a test?

If by "Test" you mean is there in Canada cross-country Professional Licensing with or without testing, the answer is NO. There are discussions going on now, and have been for some time, to allow Canadian Professional Engineers (and vice versa) reciprocity on a State-by-state basis, but I have not heard of any resolution yet. You can always call the nearest embasy and ask.
