i need to design a radial cam with oscillatiing follower .
the follower should rise with an angular deflction of 120 degrees
how should i go about this in solidworks 2010 cam toolbox...
my second question is..will the drawing i make in solidworks be enough to give to the manufacturer to fabricate this cam?...
I do not use solidworks so I can not answer your first question. I can answer the second one. The drawing may not provide enough information, but the solid you created to produce the drawing will. If possible send the solid part in a neutral format (parasolid, STEP,IGES) with the drawing.
