Good day,

If our tie offs are required to stand 5000lb of dynamic load, a 3/4" steel cable will do it. However, it's hard to bend to make the loops around the eyebolts. So I was thinking, can I use 2 cables, 1/2" each instead of one 3/4"?

3/4" safe load rating: 9520lb.
1/2" safe load rating: 4280lb. (x2 = 8560lb)?

Thanks.

It's not a linear thing. It doesn't work, already checked that. Thanks though.
