Is there any problem in opening a GstarCad dwg in AutoCAD ?

I am a developer, and want to know whether there will be any problems in applications/dwg created thru GStarCAD if the client has an AutoCAD platform ?

Also, I am considering becoming a Reseller for GstarCAD.

Thank you.

Sometimes maybe there is some trouble exsiting when opening GstarCAD, but sometimes this does happen when using AutoCAD.
I'm a Bridge System Engineer, and I've used both of AutoCAD and GstarCAD, so frankly speaking,GstarCAD is worth having a try and wish you goodluck!

Never heard of GstarCad... When I did an internet search, I found that there are only 5 distributors and the website is new to the internet. So, this means that the product is likely new and few (if any) folks are going to have any experience with the software.

Be aware, that most cad software's can open a DWG file, edit and do a save-as into their native format.

At the least, I would ask the distributor for a trial license and check the software out yourself - new products tend to have interesting characteristics.

Also, you can buy AutoCAD Light really cheap if you just want to edit DWG files.
