Dear All
I am an electrical engineer and working in a plastic molding company in the development field. I am very interested in design of mold dies using solidworks.So I require your suggestion whether I can paroceed with learning solidworks...... |

transitioning from EE to mold designer may be tough... i have taken the solidworks mold design course and it should be a great help. however, if you're new to solidworks, their advanced part modeling course is a prerequisite and of course you should take the essentials course first. |

Hi,, Any of the 3D CAD programs are awesome for molds. My choice is Inventor. If you don't have solidworks availability you can go to solidworks web site and download a 6 month full version with license to try out. It's called solidworks stimulus package. |
