My limited experience with GD&T revealed that it is much easier to apply GD&T to the hard steel tooling that would make an injection molded plastic part versus the actual plastic part. In the case of injection molding, after a part is removed from the mold, it can warp & deform due to built in stresses. Rubber parts require special techniques & may not these controls.
