This table defines the nominal efficiencies for totally enclosed fan-cooled induction motors that ar rate at 600 V or less (Random Wound).

An AC induction or asynchronous motor is an electric motor where the electric current in the rotor needed to produce torque is obtained by electromagnetic induction from the magnetic field of the stator winding.
