Aerodynamic Drag is the opposing fluid drag force that acts on any moving solid body in the direction of the fluid flow.

Symbols used:
Cd= drag coefficient
Af = frontal area (approx. 0.9 m2)
p = air density (~ 1.2 kg m-3)
v = velocity (ms-1)

Fa = Cd Af p (v2 / 2)

Total force Ft, = Fr + Fs + Fa

Where:

Fr = Rolling resistance force
Fs = Gradient force
Fa = Aerodynamic drag force
